Junior League Horse Show Gala

Saturday July 5th is the Horse Show Gala. It is going to be a fabulous party! It is at Elmendorf Farm, which is amazing. Tickets are $50 per person. The price is totally worth it. Lundy's is doing the catering, Maker's Mark will be there, cigar rolling stations, great bands, great fun!

Happy Birthday to me! I am going to the pool all day!

I've Been Tagged!

This is my first tag. Preppy Bride tagged  me to tell 5 things about my boyfriend. Here it goes..

1. He is a really good singer. He sang and performed in his high school choir and has sang in weddings. I really think he wants to be on American Idol.

2. He is almost finished with his first year of residency at UK. He loves his job and is such a hard worker. He wants to be a pediatric cardiologist. He is one of those naturally smart people who never studies. I'm jealous!

3. He snores so loud I swear you could hear it down the street. 

4. He is from Louisville and wants to move back someday. Every time he drives down the street he cusses the Lexington traffic and tells me he can't wait to go back to Louisville. I really think he wants to be closer to his family. He is really close to them and I love that. They are great!

5. He makes me want to be a better person. He always has a good attitude. Even after working a 30+ hour shift. He sometimes has to calm me down when I have one of my drama queen stress attacks over nothing. I don't know what I would do without my pumpkin! (He might die that I said pumpkin over the internet. )

Summer Reads

Hey blog friends. I need a good summer read. Has anyone read any good books lately? I usually like serious books but I am in the mood for a good, fun, girly, pool book. Send me any suggestions. Headed to the book store next week.
